Could this be the break out smash of the summer? It's starting to look like it will be. We're looking forward to it, and we'll be adding our unique spin to the critical voice that is largely falling in love with this one. 
We'll also be playing a couple of clips of interviews with Directors Chris Butler and Sam Fell.

The Bourne Legacy

After last week's Total Recall, which actually left us with a bit of a gap between our final ratings, we're looking forward to seeing what the Bourne franchise can do. We have high hopes that this one can add some overall stars to the summer.

Total Recall

We're both looking forward to this one, and coming off of our show analyzing the summer, we're hoping this one is going to help us get a bit more summer as fall approaches.
We'll have a couple of interview clips featuring director Len Wiseman and star Colin Farrell to share, and we think it's going to be a lot of fun this week.

Summer 2012 - Looking back - Looking ahead

We're taking a break from reviewing for a week, and we're going to revisit a few of our last films, look ahead to what's coming up, and discuss the summer in general.
It's been a very strange summer movie season (for us, anyway), with a lot of disappointments. What's going on? We'll give you our take on things, and we wanted to look back at a few titles to get in a few things that didn't make it into our reviews.

The Dark Knight Rises

AreYouScreening.com host and BFCA film critic, Marc Eastman, and co-host extraordinaire, Shane Leonard, take on The Dark Knight Rises.
Probably isn't much to say here, being that it's the most anticipated movie of the summer, and everyone's opinion is likely solidified.
We're expanding the show for this one, and we're going to try to also talk about our impressions on this strange summer film season.

Savages

AreYouScreening.com host and BFCA film critic, Marc Eastman, and co-host extraordinaire, Shane Leonard, take on Savages.
We're backed up a week here, because we had to get to The Amazing Spider-Man, and the Ice Age franchise is the only other thing after our attention, but we're pretty excited to see what Oliver Stone is going to do with the drug trade.
We'll have a couple of clips of Oliver Stone sharing his thoughts on the film, largely as jumping off points for us, and we may get around to a clip or two from some of the stars as well.
I'm not sure if we're exactly looking forward to this one, but it looks interesting.

The Amazing Spider-Man

AreYouScreening.com host and BFCA film critic, Marc Eastman, along with co-host extraordinaire Shane Leonard, take on The Amazing Spider-Man.
We're both excited and nervous about this one, and the trailers aren't managing to solidify our expectations.
I doubt this is the one that will get us to differ greatly in our opinion, but it should be a lot of fun.
We'll be including a couple of quick interview soundbites of Andrew Garfield and Director Marc Webb, mostly because we want to see if their sell talk plays out in the film.

Ted

Are You Screening? host and BFCA film critic, Marc Eastman, along with co-host extraordinaire Shane Leonard, take on Ted.
The continuing trend of disappointing films is bound to change this week, at least for Marc, because good or not, he has no hopes for this one at all.
We'll have at least a couple of interview soundbites this week, because we can't pass up the chance to listen to the actors talk up this film.

Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter

Are You Screening? host and BFCA critic, Marc Eastman, along with co-host extraordinaire Shane Leonard, take on Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter.
It's been a rough few weeks for us, as films have either disappointed, or thrown us for a complete loop, or both, and odd as it may sound to some, we're really looking forward to this one.

Rock of Ages

As always, delivering their instant reaction to the film.
Neither of us are especially hopeful going into the Rock Musical with the curious ensemble cast, but you never know.
