Sunday Nov 30, 2014

AreYouScreening.com and BFCA critic, Marc Eastman, and co-host extraordinaire, Shane Leonard, review Horrible Bosses 2 and Foxcatcher.
Expectations for Horrible Bosses 2 will rightfully be all over the place, but Foxcatcher has managed a lot of interesting reactions from festival screenings. The story might be an odd one, and if you know it, you may wonder if you need a film version of the crazy, but we'll let you know if this one is the must-see critics are describing.

Sunday Nov 23, 2014

AreYouScreening.com and BFCA critic, Marc Eastman, and co-host extraordinaire, Shane Leonard, review The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.
It's obviously the thing everyone has been waiting for, and there's no avoiding the box office numbers this one is going to deliver, but is it really worth it? We were impressed with the first two, but is translating the third book into two movies going to work? Or, is this just the beginning of a two movie money grab of the latest franchise that happens to get people in theaters?
We'll let you know if you need to get to this one, and answer listener questions. We'll also keep you up on what's coming your way, and the upcoming award season

It's a busy time for films, and two huge releases hit with Interstellar and Big Hero 6. We'll let you know if these marketing giants are worth your time, and we'll also look at the critical darling, St. Vincent, that has a lot of people talking about Bill Murray's performance.
We'll also answer listener questions, and let you in on our thoughts for upcoming titles.

Sunday Nov 02, 2014

AreYouScreening.com and BFCA critic, Marc Eastman, and co-host extraordinaire, Shane Leonard, review Nightcrawler and Horns.
The Halloween season is a little different this year, and Jake Gyllenhaal and Daniel Radcliffe not only aren't names you're used to associating with the holiday, but they don't play characters that seem like the run of the mill scarers either.
But, do these movies have anything worth your Halloween money? We'll let you know what we think, answer listener questions, and continue with our preview of all the huge films coming soon.

John Wick Review

Sunday Oct 26, 2014

Sunday Oct 26, 2014

AreYouScreening.com and BFCA critic, Marc Eastman, and co-host extraordinaire, Shane Leonard, review John Wick.
Coming out of nowhere, from a screenwriter with very little under his belt, and a director you've never heard of, John Wick has shot out of the gates and landed with an 86% Freshness rating on RottenTomatoes.com. That's a new level of movie-world unexpectedness for the Keanu Reeves actioner.
We'll let you know if this one is as good as the hype it's suddenly getting, share some interview clips with Keanu Reeves, and answer listener questions.

Fury Movie Review

Sunday Oct 19, 2014

Sunday Oct 19, 2014

AreYouScreening.com and BFCA critic, Marc Eastman, and co-host extraordinaire, Shane Leonard, review Fury. The Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf war film hit this weekend, and we'll let you know if it's worth your time.
This one has been drawing a lot of attention over the last few months, possibly because big war films are getting a little more rare, but it isn't exactly clear from the trailer what you're getting. We'll give you the full scoop, and respond to listener questions.
